OBJECTIVE Objective

We will develop platforms and interfaces capable of human-level precision
manipulation/locomotion in unstructured real-world environments, and build an autonomous
multi-modal robot AI foundation model based on 5D hyper-realistic world modeling
that integrates spatio-temporal and physical properties.
Through these advances, we aim to secure global technological leadership,
forge strategic partnerships with the advanced manufacturing sectors,
and ultimately strengthen national industrial competitiveness.

Hello, I am Hyun Myung, Director of the 5D AI Robotics Initiative (5D AI-RI) InnoCore Research Center.

Artificial intelligence is now evolving beyond the digital realm into
'Physical AI' that interacts with real-world environments.
However, existing technologies remain heavily reliant on visual data
and face fundamental limitations in fully understanding the complex physical laws governing our world.

Our research group is developing a 5D hyper-realistic world foundation model
and real-world adaptive robot platforms that integrate temporal dynamics
and physical properties—going far beyond simple geometric information.
Through our integrated 5D AI technology that unifies platforms
and intelligence, we aim to secure global technological leadership
and strengthen South Korea's position in the robotics industry.

Beyond technological advancement alone, we are committed to nurturing world-class
young talents who will lead on the global stage and ensuring our technology brings tangible,
meaningful changes to everyday life.

IMPACT Impact

By developing the world's first physics-informed 5D robot foundation model,
we will establish technological sovereignty in robotics for South Korea.
This initiative will train over 100 highly skilled researchers, creating a self-sustaining pipeline of
domestic talent and preventing brain drain.
Furthermore, we will integrate core robot AI technologies with the advanced manufacturing sectors,
contributing to the growth of a robot AI ecosystem
and the creation of new industries through deep-tech startups.
