Innovative Global Network for Infectious disease Theranostics & Excellence (IGNITE@GIST InnoCORE)

To establish Korea as the global standard for infectious disease response
integrating AI, BioMEMS, Biosensing, nanotechnology, Protein Engineering,
and structural biology into a unified Sample-to-Treatment platform
that breaks the walls of time, resistance, and transmission.

KEYWORDKeyword

OBJECTIVE Objectives

To develop three transformative platforms (NGuRAST / U-SFD /ACE-lysin) addressing ≧7 of WHO’s top-10 unmet infectious disease challenges;
train 50+ next-generation leaders; and generate ≥6 technology transfers, ≥25 patents, and ≥80 SCI publications over 5 years.

INTRODUCTION Director's Message

Dear colleagues and partners,
I am Prof. Sung Yang, Director of IGNITE@GIST InnoCORE.

Our center unites 16 PIs across Korea’s leading research universities and 13 world-class Global Mentors from UCLA, Harvard Medical School, Caltech, Rockefeller University, and Max Planck Institute

We are committed to delivering a Sample-to-Treatment platform that eliminates the critical barriers in infectious disease response — breaking the walls of time (sepsis rapid diagnostics), resistance (AMR therapeutics), and transmission (saliva-based multiplex POC).

Join us in redefining the global standard for infectious disease theranostics.

IMPACT Impact
