Safe AI Research Center

To advance safe and trustworthy AI across the full lifecycle, enabling

deployment in critical national industries while leading global standards and national AI leadership.

KEYWORDKeyword

OBJECTIVE Objectives

The Center seeks to develop the foundations for secure, reliable, and trustworthy AI systems across the full lifecycle—from data to deployment.
By advancing system security, data integrity, robust model design, and rigorous risk and impact evaluation,
we aim to enable the responsible adoption of AI in critical industries while strengthening economic competitiveness and public confidence

INTRODUCTION Director's Message

The InnoCORE Research Group for Intelligent Defense Systems addresses rapidly evolving future operational environments by advancing
hyper-connected defense ICT technologies operable across space, air, and maritime domains, with reliability and security-by-design in extreme
conditions as core priorities.

We integrate key technologies across RF/photonics, power, semiconductors, and networking at the system level, and pursue an execution-driven research
approach built on iterative design, prototyping, and PoC validation.

We are committed to providing a collaborative and empowering environment where outstanding researchers can lead ambitious projects with strong
ownership and autonomy, while ensuring that research outcomes translate into sustained impact through continued development and broader dissemination.

IMPACT Impact

By accumulating core IP and design assets for intelligent defense ICT across space, air, and maritime
domains and advancing them through system applicability reviews.

we strengthen self-reliance in core K-defense components and modules, while leveraging a Gyeongsang-region defense megacluster to establish a regional hub for R&D, validation, and dissemination
and to amplify broader spillover effects.

TALENT Ideal Talent

Top-tier postdoctoral researchers for intelligent defense systems, combining mission-to-system translation
HW/SW co-optimization, and prototype-driven validation with strong research autonomy and interdisciplinary collaboration
